# What is due diligence?

The Due Diligence is a deeper investigation than the KYC (Know Your Customer) which customers must go through when they want to purchase more than CHF100,000 on GOLD AVENUE. This is to ensure there is no illegal or fraudulent activity related to a gold or precious metal purchase on GOLD AVENUE. Amongst other documents, customers must provide a CV, the origins of funds, a breakdown of their net worth and explain the purpose of their purchase.
