# What is a KYC (Know Your Customer)?

The KYC (Know Your Customer) process, is a verification process for customers interested in purchasing more than CHF15,000 on GOLD AVENUE. Through this process we verify the identity and compliance of our customers with the current legislation. It is mandatory for regulated activities such as those of GOLD AVENUE. Customers will be asked to provide personal and financial information, a governmental identification (ID or passport), a selfie picture, and a proof of address.
